This kit includes all items
necessary (except for scissors) to complete one project from
Grandmother's Hope Chest: The Running Rooster. By
following the simple directions and illustrations in the book,
you will learn three basic sewing stitches: running stitch,
overcasting stitch, and basting stitch.
When the project is complete,
your child will be rewarded with a pretty handmade potholder she
can use today or keep in her hope chest for her future home.
Simple skills will have been learned to help build a solid
foundation for future hand sewing projects.
The Running Rooster is project
#1 in a 12 book series for girls ages 3 and up. This completed
potholder will be something your daughter or granddaughter will
treasure for a lifetime!
Parental supervision may be
required, especially for children under 10 years of age.
